Hard work pays off...
The club has been serving the local community for 60 years. Kids and adults alike find motivation and reward in their training and learn the value of hard work and dedication.
Keith Markham, Gator’s current chairman and head coach, first became involved in Garden City ABC in 1980. As a result of a vote amongst the young members at the time, the gym was renamed Gator ABC in the late 80’s and has continued to work alongside it’s members as a community gym until the present day.
Our experienced trainers are fully qualified at various levels holding ABA Level 1 to 4 Qualifications and all are CRB registered. Over the years, our boxers have achieved numerous titles at Divisional, Associational and National Levels. Gator has also had the pleasure of seeing it’s members representing London and England at an international level.
Club Membership:
Membership is open to boys, girls, men and women between the ages of 10 and 34.
We have a one-off membership fee of £30 and classes cost £2 per session thereafter. Once a boxer has his or her first bout for the club their membership is free.
The gym is open Monday to Friday 6.30 - 8.30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays hold the nursery sessions for beginners. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are advanced sessions for boxers at all ages.
